I assume this was done by order of some official in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council. Is there any chance this individual would like to identify him/herself and explain what on earth they were thinking?
I work for AHEAD - Association for Higher Education Access and Disability - and run a project called GET AHEAD - the National Forum of Graduates with Disabilities. I am running for this year's NUI Senate election as an independent candidate and am standing on issues including disability rights and rights for marginalised groups. I am running because I believe that in order to get change in our society and to get our rights, which are basic and fundamental to our lives it is vital to have a voice, a poltiical voice to get things done. I also believe that to make changes you must be an intricate and integral part of the issues for which you are standing. I am the first ever blind graduate to stand in Ireland and so would appreciate your vote.

This is disgraceful! Blind people should unite against the oppressors.

Well done, Mr. Des Murphy. Maybe the only way to get your point across to the bureaucrats is to sue!
Has anyone actually rang them to ask why? Or is this is random complaining with no action being taken?
